A Really Long Post About Cambridge

So I figured out that I have absolutely no time to actually write blog posts but I'm hanging out in my friend's room with a few people; playing guitars and singing so I had time to write a post. This is pretty much going to be groups of pictures about the trip. I haven't uploaded recent pictures but I'll try to get everything from the first week and a half up. Honestly, this probably won't work because I might have an RC meeting tonight. No one is really sure but I'm pretty sure that my RC swallowed a cactus because she's been REALLY grumpy lately. So meh.

Anyway....

We went punting on the River Cam (Fun Fact: there is a bridge over the River Cam; hence, Cambridge. CLever, right?). So I got to punt first and I got our boat out before everyone else's! I have a future as a punter, but not really. The punting company is full of really cute boys and they stand on the sidewalk with signs every day and try to get people walking by to punt. We've decided that to work as a punter it is a prerequisate to be really cute.

And then we went to tea!!! And it was awesome!!!! And the scones were HUGE!!!!! And I ate a massive scone with clotted creme and black currant jam!!!! YUMMY!!!!!!

We're in a TREE!!!!

And then we went bowling and it was nothing special. We all basically sucked so we had to get bumpers.

This are pictures of the view from the top of Castle Hill. The pictures don't do it justice. It is truly beautiful.

Some old buildings I thought were cool in town on the way somewhere. (I think I was going to a museum...)

My artsy pots picture at the back of Murray Edwards.

SO. CUTE.
My friend Katie (FROM AUSTRALIA!!!) and I in a puddle. Look closely.

BHS in England! It was a store in the mall we saw a movie in.

I saw this and thought of Mrs. Relihan...
BERNADETTE FOLLOWED ME TO ENGLAND!!!!

I ate an entire cup of hot vegetable soup. For those of you who know my diet, you understand how shocking that is.
Fibre is spelled fibre not fiber. HA.

Its Frosted Flakes... but NOT!!!! That's how everything is here; almost the same but named differently or with different packaging.

We went and saw the Olympic Torch when it came through Cambridge, which was AWESOME but unfortunately my camera died literally 1.5 seconds before the guy with the torch ran by so I have no pictures of it... But I was there and I saw it and it was AMAZING! It's so funny when they talk about the Olympics here because they saw "Team" and i always expect to hear "USA" but then they say "GB" because we're in England!

They gave us free British flags, but I lost mine somewhere in the dorm... :(
So that's it for now because the next place we went was Windsor Castle and I don;t have the willpower to upload all of those photos tonight. Its 12:25 am here, because that's the only time we have to do anything other than school and eating and excursions, unless you choose not to go but I always go places because that's how I want to spend my time here. This post is pretty lengthly, so I hope its good enough for now!
