So I'm in Cambridge and I have been for the last eight days (which is crazy - it doesn't feel like it has been that long...) and I fail at all things technological so this is literally the first time I've been able to connect to the internet since I've been here... Sorry I haven't posted anything yet but I finally unloaded all 403 photos from my camera onto my computer so I'm going to post now (obviously)...
So when we got here we had to chill in Heathrow forever to wait for the other kids around the world. I've never spent so much time sitting on the floor of an airpost in the awkward corner so we're out of the way.
We finally got to Murray-Edwards and it's a strangely modern college. We aren't in the famous college on all of the postcards; that's Kings, but I really like Murray-Edwards now that I'm used to everything. So this is home:

The dining hall is in the dome!!!! |

This is the view from the Vivian Stewart hallway. |

This is an open-air walkway thing called the Breezeway. It's a commonly accepted fact that the Breezeway is colder than anywhere else in the town of Cambridge so it's usually borderline freezing there. |
|
This is my dorm. It's called Pearl House. |
|
The beetle sculptures at the bottom of the Dome stairway. They're really scary the first time you see them because they're MASSIVE BEETLES!!! |

These are the stairs up to the dining hall (in the dome!!!!)
